Be it resolved that the Legislative Assembly support legislation to amend the Seniors Advisory Council for Alberta Act to provide for an Alberta Seniors Charter of Rights that would ensure seniors of the following:
(a) the highest level of dignity, respect, and treatment regardless of their situation;
(b) access to seniors’ housing which is safe, affordable, and provides a healthy environment;
(c) access to programs which would help them remain physically active and participate within their communities; and
(d) access to the highest quality of mental health care programs, treatments, and support.
